Understanding Checkout Questions

Checkout questions are a valuable feature that allows companies and agencies to gather additional information from travelers during the booking process. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

  • Checkout questions are optional and will appear on the Traveler booking page alongside the Out of Policy reasons.

  • You can include up to 5 questions, which you can set as optional or required for travelers to answer. These questions can be formatted as freeform text, list boxes, or dropdown menus.

  • For companies, answers are displayed on the Trip Details pages and in the export features.

  • For agencies, answers to checkout questions can be recorded in the Reporting Remarks or, during file completion, in the Passenger Name Record (PNR). This configuration is managed by the Agency or GDS subscriber.
