Configuring Prompts/Reason Codes

Prompts/Reason Codes are used to collect freeform or structured answers for Policy Violation.

  • They are set only at the agency�s level and apply across all customers and events .

  • The answers are used in Reporting Remarks to be added to the PNR .

  • The 8 standard Out of Policy Violation settings default to freeform answers (Textbox), but any can be configured as a DropDown or ListBox. The Did Not Take Lowest Air Fare reason code can be added. **

GDS Formatting for Prompts

  • For freeform answers, use the dynamic field label {{checkout:desc}} in the GDS commands .

  • For DropDown or ListBox answers, there is both an Answer (description) and a Value (code). Use {{checkout:desc}} for the Answer/Description and {{checkout:code}} for the Value/Code. **** **** **
