Using Tags as Fields in Reporting Remarks

Tags are name/value pairs used to organize and categorize data at multiple levels: Policies, Policy Templates, Events, Company, and Agency.NOTE: Tags are not used for Traveler Profile data; Custom Profile Fields are used for that purpose .Tag Creation

• Tags are created with a Name (label) and a Value (specific information).

• The Tag is then tied to the level at which it was created (e.g., Event).

GDS Integration (Reporting Remarks)

• The Tag data string format input in the GDS Commands is {{from:tagname}} .

• The from parameter depends on the tag's creation level: Agency, Company, Event, or Policy .

• The tagname is the exact Name (description) given during creation (e.g., for an Event Tag named EventDK, the string is {{event:EventDK}}) .

• The Value of the tag (e.g., 1234567890) is what is input into the PNR.

• Note: If a Tag is expected but missing from an event, the corresponding Reporting Remark will not trigger, and nothing will be input into the GDS.
